Privet European Food and Bakery: Authentic European Cuisine and Fresh Baked Goods in Salem, OR

Today I visited Private European Food & Bakery. New Owners are putting real effort. Their food is fresh always, Next door they opened FARZNA -Uzbek Authentic Food. Their food truck used to be in The Park before now they moved here. Chicken Kabab was out of this world perfect flavor, meat melts in the mouth. Rice plov was so great, that we felt almost high with the taste of the food. They offer a tea I am not big fan of tea myself but for some reason it went very good with the our dish. This is great place to bring a family on weekends They are restaurants open for now only Saturday & Sundays, but I am sure they will have to open other days as well later in the future because the tail of their food will spread and bring more people pretty soon. If you done with your lunch swing by next door Privete European Bakery & food. They have delicious Honey cake, Napaleon, great selections of cheese & sausages. The new Owners making every Saturday & Sunday Homemade piroshki. We will be back for sure.

I visited Privet European Food and Bakery and was very impressed! The pastries were fresh, soft, and flavorful, and the homemade belyashi were a forgotten childhood taste! You won't find authentic Uzbek pilaf and meat (shashlyk) cooked over an open fire anywhere else in Oregon. They also offer a great selection of European products that are hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We're so glad we found a place where we can get all our childhood favorites in one go. If you love real bread without added sugar, delicious pastries, and delicacies, this place is definitely for you. Highly recommended!

Just rediscovered this place. So far have only purchased the German bread, but plan on going back in for more finds. If you’ve had German bread before you’ll get it….it’s the best. Apparently this bakery imports the bread or dough and bakes it in-house with a German bread oven. The Bauernbrot is incredible!

Best customer service, best product, good price, best food quality, I never see anywhere that customer service with the store provide me. I definitely recommended anyone to come and visit the store. Yummy European Uzbek food the best most papular the whole world, please come and check every Sunday they get fresh food. It’s the best food ever

This is a magical little place filled with wonderful objects and cakes! And tea! And tea cakes! And fancy little candies wrapped in beautiful papers and foil, smoked fish, sausages, and fresh baked bread (the loaf was warm.) Sweet staff, truly kind and welcoming. I can't wait to go back.

This store is under new management. Great service and very helpful in different questions. So thankful we have them in our city. If you ask them to slice any meat, they'll do no problem. Very polite and great customer service!

Love this place. Great service, wonderful selection of deli meat/cheese items. Candy and other sweet treats are one of a kind. Check first but usually on Sunday’s they make some amazing kabobs on the grill and if you’re lucky and you get there in time definitely try the Plov (see picture w/rice) first item to usually sell out

Discovered this place by accident. Only took a few photos of all the stuff they offer. I was fascinated by the different tea selections. Bought some and will be back to buy more. Need to see for yourself.
